Tomorrow marks 5 weeks since Nick was hospitalized. Much has happened to make us thankful for God’s mercy and grace throughout.
Nick continues to slowly come out of the coma, and there were many encouraging signs yesterday!
- The hospital gave Nick a reclining wheelchair and got him out of his room a couple times and took him around ICU
- He’s making a bit of a humming sound
- He’s trying to stick his tongue out on command

Hey Buddy! So here are some things you need to know: The Ducks won the Stanley Cup, the Padres are in first place in the National League and have won thier last two games against the Dodgers, and Paris Hilton got put in jail, got taken out of jail, and got put back in jail again. Of course none of this news is as good as the news that you are humming and trying to stick out your tongue and all that good stuff. I love you and miss you and am so glad your getting better! xoxo

Nick we pray for you so many times in a day. You are ALWAYS in our prayers. We see that God is answering the prayers of His saints. Here is a scripture for you & your family. Romans 4:20-21- "He (Abraham)did not waiver at the promise of God through unbelief but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God and being fully convinced that what HE has promised HE WAS ALSO FULLY ABLE TO PERFORM!" Nick we know that God is going to use this for HIS good and HIS glory. Keep your eyes on Jesus, He will be faithful again and again!
